Little Black Dresses

Whether you're heading off to a class reunion or walking the decks of a cruise ship, the little black dress (lbd) is a no-fail option.

Every fashionista believes it is a rule of thumb that every woman should own a simple, elegant black dress that can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion.

For example, worn with a jacket and pumps for daytime business wear or with more ornate jewellery and accessories for evening.

Look for details that flatter your shape (strapless to show off great shoulders; waist details to optimize an hourglass shape) and pick a length anywhere from mini to right below the knee for the most versatile look.

In short, the lbd is meant to be a staple of the wardrobe.
